TEMPORARY ALIMONY
Temporary Alimony means that a Judge orders one person to pay the other person money for a specific time. In Florida, it is possible to get Temporary Alimony from your Husband or Wife when there is a Divorce case that either person has filed. To get Temporary Alimony, the Judge will require the Parties to come to Court and tell the Judge the reasons why Alimony should or should not be allowed on a temporary basis.
Temporary Alimony means the same as Temporary Support. This occurs when one of the Parties can prove to a Judge that the other party makes more money and the one party asking for the alimony tells the Judge that they do not make any money or have no money to pay for food, shelter and other necessary bills.
It is important to talk to a lawyer to see if you can get Temporary Alimony.
