Divorce is a very trying and emotionally draining experience. The offices of Gordon Shayne provided a level of professionalism and diligence that relieved me of much of the associated stress. You place a lot of your future in the hands of your attorney during this process and I always felt at ease working with Gordon and his team. They always kept me abreast of developments and the level of communication provides a large piece of mind. I really feel they and their expanded network of professionals played a huge role in the positive outcome of the custodial care of my daughter. My prayer is that all is well with you, your family and the office staff. This letter has a two-fold purpose. First to thank Gordon and his staff for the expert, courteous and friendly service provided to me during my recent divorce.

The second purpose is to share my experience with the Law Office of Gordon Shayne with others who might be in need of a great attorney specializing in divorce and family law.

Gordon’s approach is that of a teacher first and then an attorney. He spends his time educating his clients on the specifics of their case. He also ensures that his clients have a goal and then he explains how the law applies to obtaining or reaching that goal.

My experience with Gordon is that he never advocates divorce, but, if the parties decide that their union is broken beyond repair, he provides excellent legal advice on the necessary courses of action. He has an extra ordinary amount of compassion for children and their welfare when children are involved in a divorce.

This brief synopsis of Gordon’s abilities cannot tell it all. I can truly say that he sets the standards for others to emulate.

Gordon Shayne was my lawyer during a very intense custody battle that involved complicated mental illness and endangerment of a child. The process was long and frustrating, but during that time I found Gordon to be patient, understanding and knowledgeable about the process, the individuals involved in the court system and the child protective services. There is no doubt in my mind that if I had a lawyer with less experience and knowledge of the system and the individuals within the system in Colorado Springs, my children would have faced a situation that put them at risk.  With Gordon’s assistance we were able to keep the children safe and reach a long term solution that has allowed my children to develop into productive individuals that are mentally and physically healthy.

I retained Gordon N. Shayne on August 22, 2008 to handle my divorce.  Gordon is a great Attorney and is extremely professional, and incredibly passionate about his work as well as the law.  I got to witness Gordon in court; I was very impressed with his litigation skills.  Gordon has a great skill set that he brings to the table with respect to the law and the court room.  I felt that Gordon put 110 percent into my divorce case and we were victorious because of his relentless and extreme work ethics.  Gordon and his staff handled my case with the utmost professionalism.  Gordon fought for me and the safety of my two children; I won full custody of my children that are 6 and 8 years old.  I am so thankful to have my children and Gordon is the reason I have my two children today.  I can not say enough good things about Gordon and his staff.  At the end of the day Gordon is an incredible Attorney and a great man.  I respect Gordon very much and would highly recommend him to anybody that is seeking a great Attorney to handle their divorce and/or family law matters.
